Last night I was at this party with a bunch of people and a girl who I've seen around a few times. We talked for a little bit, and before she left I asked her for her number and she gave it to me. Only problem is, I'm afraid she might have been drunk and won't remember who I was if I call. Would it be better to text or even just give up altogether? And What would a good meet up (or whatever) be?

Called her. And she doesn't remember at all. But chances are I'll see her around again. Any suggestions?

Give it a try and call her. Just say something like "It's (your name). We met last night. Remember we talked about. " Don't send her a text message. Just don't. :)
Ask her if she's interested to go out for coffee or go see a movie. Show her you're interested in getting to know her more. ;)
Try to get to know her a little more before you ask her out. Then without her knowing get her a gift. A gift shows a girl you appreciate her and that's a great start. Give her a little time for her to think of what guy cares enough about me to get me this gift. Then make your move ask her out face to face alone. She will admirer your confidence. Make sure you have a date in mind a fun one like bowling, ice skating etc....

Next time you see her make fun of yourself by saying "hey, I'm that guy that called you and you didn't remember" - at least it will be an ice breaker. If she laughs and continues the conversation you are on the right track.
