So. Even though I spend almost everynight at his house and talk to him everyday--this guy won't date me: he was cheated on before and he is convinced I like other guys (I don't). What started this was that he was hurting over his ex cheating and was finally getting over it and ready to make a decision on committing to me --well I had spent the night and left my phone on the counter I had recently swapped out my phone for my old phone (my new one had water damage) and my old phone had a picture of another guy on it so when he went to turn off my alarm he saw it. Now he says he refuses to get hurt. I've told him I'm not into other guys but he won't listen! He says he loves me but is too scared. But he does want me to keep spending the night all the time and to hang out. What can I do? Do I just wait til he realizes he's the only guy I like or is his mind made up?
Strangely I think you should spend less time with him, so that he can see what it's like not to have you around. That way he'll know whether he misses you, and then you will eventually know also.
Hey. If you are totally convinced deep inside there in your heart that you love him then be patient, such things won't be easy to be realized in a day and night, it has to take time. Simply show him the best of you and let him feel and see what you really have inside you for him. Keep your self calm. It may take month or two but at the end he will admit his love to you. If this didn't work, just stay away for a while and see what would he do to get you back.
I'm not going to lie. You should probably move on. I mean most guys who aren't jerks (not douchebags there is a difference) take a really long to time to move on. This guy seems like he's pretty alright from what you said. Go ahead and move onto another guy and the one you like right now will eventually get his heart right and who knows maybe you guys will get the timing right next time.
Ok I am in 7th grade. I was going out with a 9th grader and we kissed and everything and I felt like I really could last long with him. Well I found...

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I don't really use a "pickup line." Usually I will just ask them something basic relating to a common situation (if we're at a party, we're co-workers, etc.), and then hopefully steer it into a conversation where I can ask about them, learn about them, hopefully throw in a few jokes here and there. Past that, though, I don't always follow through, which is where I struggle.
How do they typically respond?
Usually pretty well, the interaction is more friendly than anything, so there isn't much pursued past that point. I feel good about my initial approach, I guess it's 'closing the deal' that I'm not good with.
