I'm born in Toronto, Canada where almost everyone here is from a different country. To me, it doesn't matter what the skin color of a guy is. As long as the guy treats me with respect & I'm happy in the relationship. For some reason I can't seem to convince my parents & relatives to see things from what I see. They only see people for their skin color, which I highly disprove. Has anybody been in a situation, where families have tried to keep 2 people apart just because they weren't the same race?
Happens every day... As I am sure you are aware, going against the family tends to lead to a lot of heart ache - either way - so you need to ask yourself if your relationship with your boy friend is strong enough to survive the worst of times on your own, just the two of you.
I don't know your family but I've seen families literally disown their children and even worse yet, not even approve or even get involved with the grandchildren, so if this is the real deal, just be certain that the relationship is strong enough to survive every little hurdle life may throw along your path.
I haven't be in such a situation but I think there is one of two things you can do, you either obey your family rules and stay away of other races which I totally disprove. We are all human and we are all a like. Another thing you can do is just ignore the family and relatives and be who you are and with the one you wants badly.
If you are in love with that guy and you are so sure deep inside that he loves you you will ignore the family and enjoy your time with him. In both cases you will loose something, you will either loose the family or the boy you love. Think about it :-)

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
A day at the beach or pool , then a casual place for dinner, then for a walk on the beach to look at the stars. Then the hot tub back at my place. I wear a little summer dress and you wear ripped jeans and a nice shirt. Falling asleep talking and watching a movie.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Anything he wants to. Except what I look like without my clothes on. We'll save that for the second date.
