Why do men cheat?

Men cheat because their girlfriend doesn't do enough for them

I'm afraid the URGE to pro-create, to breed with the opposite sex often and at will, was built into men before civilized society invented such notions as relationship, committment and marriage.
It wasn't "cheating" before the rules changed. It was the natural thing to do for the male animal. Most men still retain that URGE to naturally mingle with the opposite sex in spite of the structures we have invented that surrounds male-female interaction in these so-called "civilized" times. Insecurity, lack of commitment, inexperience, greed, over confidence, nature, drunk & impaired judgement, envy, temptation, revenge, betting and tons of others I can't name at this moment.
I don't think it is any different for women.

Completely depends on the situation but if you get cheated on, you should leave.

You know actually, I read something in a magazine, not sure which one, but it was some ladies magazine. And in it, it said that women are actually more likely to cheat then men. And I believe it, cause I personally, and so many of me guy friends would never even think about doing that to someone we love. So, your question actually becomes, why do people cheat, to which there are a lot of different reasons. Maybe they don't love the person they are with, but are afraid to tell them that so instead they stay with that person. But they wouldn't be happy with that person, which is going to make them go find someone else. Maybe one of the people may think that they aren't even in a relationship so they should be free to do what ever they want. And then of course there is always, getting drunk and not having complete control over your own actions.

ok lets see, a number of reasons.boredom especially in the bedroom, he isn't getting any at all, cause he is just that way, cause he has no self control, cause its time to move on but is scared to be alone, cause he could, he'd prob say cause she made me do it and my face just landed down there.lol, its not right, I don't agree but it does unfortunately happen, usually from lack of sex with current S.O.

There are many reasons why, its hard to single out just one. But here are a few:
1) Some men never reach that maturity level and have self control.
2) Men are selfish and always want it all
3) We women outnumber men by a vast majority. They are like kids in a candy store. There is so much opportunity and variety that they are led by the "head" with the bigger brain.

This behavior should not be accepted or tolerated, cause we can sample all the flavors in the candy store too. But we can also have self control. Men are hunters by nature but if they are wise enough to know when they have a women who can't easily be replaced, they will consider their actions.

But HarryCrane, weren't men the ones that invented marriage?
And human males have sexual organs only for procreation (when male climaxes, penis ejaculates). Women are the ones that have the sex organ only for pleasure(clitoris, which has nothing to do with reproduction) so why are guys the ones that are seen as being promiscuous by NATURE? Maybe the "teachings" of biology and "modern psychology" sometimes only depend on the people who publish it (men), but not on actual hard evidence.

Well some of the guys I talked to who cheated on their wife or had a lot of lovers said they did it for revenge. One of the guy's wife cheated on him and another's girlfriend left him. Yep. They spilled the beans for all guys. Lol.

Cause they think they need more sexual life if you aren't supporting their "needs".

They probably feel left out in their relationship.Oor they just get bored, it sucks I know.

You really should ask why do people cheat, usally it's beacause they like the excitement of meeting new people and being intimate with as many peopl as possible. Just find someone who is generally trustworthy and loyal.
