I've been seeing this guy and at first he flirted or whatever, and then acted like he was my boyfriend, and introduced me to his family as his girlfriend, but then after that night he backed off and has been distant, which has been leading me to trying too hard, and I know he is stressed out right now with a lot on his plate, and now he tells me he likes me, but that a relationship may never come of this, but it doesn't make sense because he knows I won't sleep with him unless I am in a relationship. Yet he continues to hang out with me, and make out with me, but may never want a relationship? I don't really want to waste my time doing this if nothing will come of it, but I don't understand why he is staying.
Update: Did I do something wrong? Is there something different I need to do?

Honestly, I think he's not worth your time. He's got a girlfriend, but he leads you on and makes out with you... how would you feel if he did that with other girls if he was your boyfriend? He's a jerk. Do yourself a favor and get over this pathetic a**.
