I've been dating this guy for a little over 3 years. For the majority of our relationship he's been incarcerated. He just got out a few days ago and I've only talked to him once. He now lives a few cities away from me so I won't be able to see him until a month or two. He hasn't been calling me at all besides the time I talked to him when he got out. I call and text the phone he calls from but nothing is ever returned which is funny because when we talked he said he can't ever imagine being with anyone else besides me. Well than why isn't he calling me when he takes the time to call his brother that lives in the same city as me everyday? I know he sees my calls and text! If you decide to give me some advice please don't tell me I should move on because he's a jail bird, I've waited for him twice in a total of maybe 24 months all together. I'm not doing it anymore... this was his chance for us to be able to make our relationship work out stress free. I don't know if he doing the typical guy thing when they first get out a jail(getting laid) because I don't see why he wouldn't want to talk to the person he says he wants to be with everyday. I have a great guy friend that would love to date me and has better stuff going on in his life than my boyfriend so I don't know what to do. if I decide to completely break up with my boyfriend how should I when he doesn't answer my calls or text (no I can't send a letter I did that way too much when he was in jail lol). Lastly, when he comes back to my city I know he's gonna try to be all over me what should I do about that even if I decide to stick with him?
why would you want to be with someone like that I mean if he come back in you life more problem is going accommulate just more on there are a lot of man in this one you don't what to be the one to get the end of the stick do you you deserve better if I were you I'll move on
Why would you want to pursue a relationship with someone who has for a majority of your relationship been incarcerated? What can you ever expect to really gain out of this relationship? It seems to me that this guy is more worried about doing other "bad" things in life then he is about you and the relationship you had/have with him.
Move on, there are better guys out there that you will find and be in a relationship where you can really care, love, and deoend on each other.
It sounds like you already made up your mind. You know what would make you happy or at least satisfy you. You only live once you should be happy. This "Other Guy" may not be who you are going to be with the rest of your life but he maybe what you need now. It's okay to want attention. It's normal. Be happy, move on.
Sounds to me lyk you are still going to stick it out so why the question? I know this because I've done the same thing, but you still know that you are going to talk it over with him and whatever answers he gives you will be accepted and that will be that. That is just how it is with those jail birds, we love them unconditionally. Hate to love them and love to hate them. Peace!
