I started dating this guy and he told me he wanted to date me exclusively. I agreed and we started dating. We got together one weekend and had a blast together, but then the following week he calls me up and says he doesn't think he's ready for a relationship. He says he needs time to get himself together before he can put 100 percent into a relationship, which I totally respect. Except, this past weekend, we had a group gathering of mutual friends and by the end of the weekend, we all slept in the same room. He slept on the couch and I slept on the floor next to him. He held my hand and stroked my face, it was really sweet. He hasn't talked to me, although it has been only a few days. I'm just confused to whether he just wants to be friends or what, I just don't want to get too attached and realize he just wants to be "friends with benefits. " I feel though that he really cares for me. Should I confront him about this past weekend?
