So I met a girl at the beginning of the Fall semester at my college. She is everything I'm looking for in a girl at the moment. She is sweet, fun, and gorgeous. We have great conversations. She makes me smile as I do her. And the more I hang out with her the more I think about her, but I'm not sure if she is single. You may be thinking to your self well just ask!
As a college student I use Facebook a lot. Well she added me as a friend and her page says she is single, but I've seen pictures of her with a guy who looks as if he is her boyfriend. She is from out of town so I figure maybe her boyfriend is too. Anyways my problem is I can't figure out how to find out if she is going out with this guy or not. If she is its cool we can be friends. I've enjoyed simply talking to her and having fun. If it ever became something more than that it would be fantastic, but until I find out for sure if she is going out with this guy I'm just going to wait it out. What do y'all think I should do?

Just ask! She'll be flattered even if she's dating someone. Also, I've got a gay friend, and this one girl's sister asked if they (my friend and the girl) were dating based off photos on facebook. If you didn't know he was gay, it would come off that way (they're always hugging etc. )
So he might just be a close, gay friend. Don't worry so much and just ask her out!
I think you should ask her out. If you've conversed with her for a while and she hasn't mentioned a guy, then there might not be one. There's no guarantee; some women like the attention.
I completely disagree with those who advise you to ask her if she's single. That makes you look like a dork. You're going to have to ask her out anyway if she says she is, only now you look like you didn't have the guts to just ask. If she is dating someone, the odds are that the rejection won't be painful. After all, she's not rejecting you she's just saying she isn't available. But asking her if she's single first? No way.
I would just be like (and I'm in college too btw), "Hey are you seeing anyone? " She's like "no, why? " "Because I want to see you this weekend, we should go out. " And in her little girly voice, "Okay, sure! " Piece of cake dude, that girl ain't got nothinu on your Bio. Now handle that shit.
It's simple, just say hey are you single? And if she says yes then bam ask her to dinner or something, and if she says no I have a boyfriend they say ok just wondering and leave it at that. You'll never know unless you ask her.
I think you're doing the right thing. Spend as much time as you can with her, and the more you do, the closer you'll get to her. After awhile, you will probably be close enough to her to just ask her if she has a boyfriend. Remember, this would be much harder, if you weren't talking to her.
