so about a month ago, my good guy friend of 7 months confessed that he liked me. he had traveled 3 hrs to tell me this (because I go to school 3 hrs away). he stayed at my place for 3 days and emailed me 3 days after he came back from visiting me. we then went on a couple more dates every time I come home which is once a week. every time I'm coming home I'M the one that has to message him to tell him that I'm coming home for the weekend and to ASK him to chill. also, we never call or text each other during the week...if we do text on the RARE occasion it will be me asking him something like: how was ur week...and he'd respond...I DON'T GET WHY THIS GUY NEVER TEXTS OR CALLS ME? is this normal for guys? I DO know that he is a very shy guy--took him forever to confess his feelings...and he prefers face-to-face convo's...but still...
Maybe he is so shy he can't send you any text or give you a call. Or he doesn't like you that much. There is no way to know it without question himself. Maybe he doesn't have the time to do it.
When you invite him over, he shows up? If true probably his too shy to call you =]
If he's like me he might even be too shy to do that, I can't text anyone (if I like them) if they don't text me first, that even goes for msn, calling people is even worse, if someone I like calls me I say about two or three words and actually nod (as if they would see it) but that's just me, I'm unbelievably shy, maybe he is?
It doesn't really matter why he does it, just that he does it. If it bugs you, let him know. He is obviously unaware that this is a problem. A lot of guys can default to exactly this pattern and if he really cares he will listen to you and do what he can to change it up.
