He wrote back "No I don't want you to leave me alone." Then in an entirely separate text a second later said "Ever." Very sweet but not really an answer. Any advice?
I'm confused by your question. You say, "Lets get on the same page here." But you didn't clarify if your boyfriend understood specifically which page you meant. Have you two discussed and defined exactly what you were discussing?

Of course I don't know anything about he guy but perhaps he's never been in a love situation like this one and has no idea what to do with you now that you've plighted your troth. You may have to take the step he's supposed to make and move forward with him. Ask him out and do the things he's supposed to do as the man.
