I realize we live in a world where everyone seems to be hung up on looks and from what it seems that is all that girls/women are looking for a hot guy or whatever. I mean I have been told I am cute and handsome and all and often I end up exchanging a few emails with someone only for her to stop responding with not a sorry not interested or she lies and says she is but never hear back from her that's another story so that being said.
I am a balding guy but I shave my head unless I am at home by myself or sometimes if a girl "says" she likes it, or I go for a job interview or need to be somewhere that I can't wear a hat I don't. I REALLY don't like leaving the house without a hat. If nature was unkind or it is heredity not a whole lot at the moment I can do besides shave my head
I also have a hairy chest, and am just well to put it bluntly I am a hairy guy no way around it, if I could fix it and not be as hairy believe me I would.
I know everyone has their thing they like
So is a balding guy who shaves attractive or an attractive quality?
Is a guy with a hairy chest/overall a hairy guy attractive? Or totally and utter disgusting?
I have heard some like running their hand over it while kissing, or that's manly. I know its the personality that matters and all but still I have to wonder if the qualities are repulsive or if for some neither of it matters-some say it but don't really mean it.
Update: Overall I am a nice all around good guy, and have been told so a few times, so its not like I am some hideous beast or anything.

Well I am not completely bald there is stubble there when I shave-but there is more stubble in places than others-hence the balding but shave it part, so yea I shave it but like the post said usually don't leave the house without a hat unless its for a job interview or something. - 7 months ago
First off, from what you are describing you have an excess of testosterone. If this bothers you, you can see a doctor about it and they might be able to prescribe something for you.
As far as balding/shaved heads - I have always loved hair. I love my hair. My ex was starting to lose his hair and it bothered me (not the reason he is my ex though) I just have always had a thing for men with a great head of hair.
Now that is not to say that guys with shaved heads are unattractive and for some women they really love it. Some women are attracted to shaved heads. You just need to find the right woman. Just like some men love blondes or brunettes, some love big boobs or small. Different strokes for different folks.
I think it is funny and kind of telling that you start your statement off talking about how all women are looking for a hot guy and how everyone is hung up on looks. To me you just need a little more confidence in yourself. You say that you never leave your house without a hat.
I think you should embrace what you have. If you are shaved head guy, then be proud of it. There are a lot of guys with shaved heads that get plenty of action and are considered attractive. Go with it!
I am purely going on what girls say (and past experience) what they want in a guy just in order to email them heaven for bid meet. hey girls are shallow, and lie and play games and I seem to meet them all, no way around it that's as simple as I can put it. I however believe looks are only initial and some attraction is nice and should be there but personality matters more apparently I am in the .01% that thinks that way, oh well. - 7 months ago

First off, guys are just as shallow as girls. I can send you links to a hundred different questions and answers on this site alone to prove that if you don't believe me. Guys play games and lie just as much as women. I think it was guys that turned love into a game by calling themselves "Players". As far as who you are talking to, maybe it is because you are talking to (in your own words) "girls" instead of talking to women. - 7 months ago
Question Asker
If your not a doctor, I am just curious is it fact that excess of testosterone can cause that and who knows what else?
How do you know it to be true - 7 months ago

I have a friend that works for a dermatologist. She and I were talking about it one day because my ex had a similar problem. He also has a very oily scalp and face. He is also losing his hair and has been for sometime. His is receding. I can't say for sure this is your trouble as well, just going on the limited info I have. Just look it up on the web or talk to your Dr. I do know that excess test. Can cause other issues as well so it wouldn't hurt to talk to your Dr just in case. - 7 months ago
I personally like men that have shaved/bald heads, however going by what you've said it's hard to tell. If a woman has already accepted one or two dates or communicated with you, I don't think she's stopping contact because of your bald head. As a woman there are a few things that we look at from the jump. Your smile, overall appearance outfit (head down to the shoes) and hygiene. How's your smile? Is your breath hot? Def turn off. What's the condition of your clothes? (I personally don't care if you are wearing name brand stuff, just as long as you are not walking around in baggy clothes or in clothes that have rips and tears and old grease stains. If that ' s the case go shopping for the necessities and use an iron or drop off at the dry cleaners for pressing. ) And finally, how's the hygiene? You mentioned you were hairy. All over. If your back looks like you are already wearing a sweater, you may want to get it waxed or use a hair removal creme. How are your fingernails? Dirty and jagged or clean and smooth? How's your deodorant holding up? Breath on point? You mentioned that some ladies give you the" kiss off" when they are not interested. Maybe you are being to head strong from the jump or maybe, just like a guy, the girl is just not that into you. Or who knows, you sound like a nice guy, so maybe the type of girls you are going after aren't looking for a nice guy, but a meal ticket or something else. I guess the best thing is that you haven't invested too much energy in these women. Sorry for the long winded answer, but there it is. In my book bald/shaved head + confidence+ good self maintenance= Attractive. :-)
Well some I should say most I haven't meet only a few hung out a couple times and never to be heard from again, or made up some lie that they would think I would believe..silly girls. I have been told I have a nice smile, I do all the necessary things when meeting a girl, shower, shave, brush teeth, deodorant all the essentials. I think these "girls" were looking for someone to feed into the lies and games. Not a long answer at all, just curious where are you from??........;) - 7 months ago
Everyone has their preferences. Some girls like bald guys, some don't. Some like hairy men, others are repulsed. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh. But it's the truth. Girls are weird, we say we want a hot manly man, so anytime a normal, sweet guy comes around they aren't interested. When really they do want a sweet, normal guy. I don't know why so many women do this, but this is a shallow quality. You seem like a sweet guy, so you need to find a sweet girl. Just be yourself, and I know you will find someone. Good luck!
Thanks no doesn't sound harsh, believe it or not at this point I do get lonely from time to time but I think I am better off by myself much less headache drama and everything else. Just out of curiosity do either of those qualities do it for you? - 7 months ago

I personally don't care if a guy is bald or not. A hairy chest isn't too bad either, but it becomes a problem, when it's all over the back and neck. That's kind of gross, but it's easily fixable. - 7 months ago

Guys, I know you have been puzzled by the opposite sex and by no means do we make it easy for you. We say one thing, we mean another. We rarely ever say just what we mean. We only expect you to...
I've heard thousands of conversations between women, and I'm convinced that most of the advice they give each other is nothing more than the often repeated thoughts of other people. That is to say,...
