I have been hanging around this girl from school that I really like. I asked her out to dinner and a movie. She said yes right away and looked really excited when I asked her. When I picked her up I was unable to open her door to my car because she ran outside as I was slipping on a nice shirt. I opened her door for the rest of the date. I ordered us food that I knew she would like and asked her questions about herself all the time. I took her back to her parents and watched one of her favorite movies with her that I had picked up at the local video store. Her friends, who also happen to be my friends now as well, all said that this would be better than taking her to an actual movie, this way I could talk to her and get to know her better. A few days later one of our friends told me that she had told her that she would go out with me again but that I was a little "too nice". Also she hangs out with her ex going to concerts and such. I went to a party that she threw before I asked her out and he was there with his friend who made her cry. Her ex then tried to make it look like she was the reason that his friend treated her like crap and then he tried to tell me as she was crying her eyes out that she always acts like that when she drinks? I don't know how to approach the topic of her hanging out with her ex treating her like crap but I hate the fact that she still hangs out with him and that he makes her feel awful. If there is anyone out there that can possibly shed some light on this please let me know ASAP!
Apparently that guy is an ass hole. He does not care about the girl. Do you think your girl still like her ex. You sound like a nice guy. Do you or does the girl feel uneasy talking to you. What I mean is that is there a sense of not knowing what to talk about and not really connecting? What does "she had told her that she would go out with me again but that I was a little "too nice"" mean? I will tell you what I think. 1. She still has a little feeling towards her ex 2. She likes you and thinks that you are a nice guy, but there is something missing for now(she is not connecting with you too well for now) 3. Step up and always be there for her 4. Show her that you are the right man for her 5. She needs a sense of protection from you good luck with your girl
