I asked a girl out today and she said she didn't want to go out with me because she isn't ready to date right now, is this just a way for her to say no.

In a nice sort of way yes. Either she's just getting out of a relationship or she got burned. Just be there for her as a friend and go from there.

Mostly when girls do that it is because they might not be interest in you, I mean when I don't really want to date the guy I tend to do what she is doing and most of the time I ask the guy if he just wants to stay as friends because I mostly don't see him that way of me and him being together?

Dude its a copout, girls pull that crap all the time, either she just got out of a relationship and doesn't want to date which is a total lie by the way, just wait till you see her with some other dude and you'll know. My advice don't keep trying with this one your only going to get a long line of excuses and she will flake out on you constantly its not worth your time, pack it up and move on my friend other wise youll start to like her more and more and well its a long hard road out of hell my friend happened to me once a long time ago and whenever a situation like this happens to me again I say ok so you do you or do you not want to go out on date, if you do ok were on the same page her but if your just saying crap to be nice don't waste my time anymore.

It is - and it may not be. Even if she said "no, not ever", that can be subject to change. Women reserve that right. Dating you may not be what she has in mind today, but she only gets her way if you quit after one rejection. I'm not saying be a pest, but maybe you just need to move slow. If she means what she says, then she won't be saying yes to anyone else just now either. If she matters, it would be a big mistake to move on too quickly. Be around for support and take advantage of any opportunities to get closer. If she backs a way, then you'll know more. If she knows you have already jumped to the next on your list, you won't be the one she calls when her car won't start, or whatever. Not that you want to let yourself be used, but being there at the right time can change your world. If that's not satisfactory, then try something creative. Have you seen "Hitch"? Much truth to that movie.

BINGO!

I used to think women had secret meetings in some dark basements, sharing ideas on how to tell a guy off. Why? Because I must have heard them all. I used to keep track of all the lines I heard as to why they didn't want to date me. If I dug up the paperwork, I could actually tell you the number. I made a report on it, a thesis on how difficult it is for average looking men to get dates. Got an A+ too.

I must have heard this one at least 300 times. Forget her, find someone else who is not waiting for God's Second Coming.

Advice: How To Impress Your Date
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 18 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
Hi, I'm Dan how are you doing today?

How do they typically respond?
Generally she tells me how she is doing. From there I start normal conversations. Pick up lines generally speaking are stupid and fail a good amount of the time, being yourself and being confident and comfortable are far more important.

Do I have the right approach?
