I have 3 guy friends that I am incredibly close to. I'm not dating any of them, not would I want to, and I have told them that. But I still get the vibe that they are hoping for a chance with me. They often insist on paying for my meals or entertainment, and often get upset when I hang out with another guy. I generally won't let them pay and I have confronted them about getting angry about other guys.

I want to keep my friends, but I don't want to lead them on or to hurt them. What should I do?

Guys want to do pretty much every decent girl, that's just how it is. Girls that are our friends are 99% of the time girls we would like to do given the chance, but have just accepted not doing them. I know this sounds bad to girls but every guy can explain to you how it really isn't (we're used to not doing whoever we want, it's part of being a guy who isn't a rapist).

Guys that keep trying to pay for crap and get mad at other guys are definitely trying to be your boyfriend, and you should say something straight up like "thanks man but I'm paying for my meal, it's not like we're going out." and "if you have a problem with my guy friends, you won't be one of them."

Really there's no excuse for letting a guy harass you about any of it, because though you shouldn't hold it against a guy for mustering up the courage to ask you out from time to time, you also have the right to guy friends who are just guy friends. Be understanding, but don't let them get carried away.

I personally as a guy do not believe in having girls that are just friends and by friends I mean hanging out all the time and not progressing into a sexual relationship. You can call it what you want immature or whatever but I call it reality. If you want guy friends then find gay guy friends.

Just remember guys are programmed to score with chicks. You start meddling with gods/mother natures plan and you will only frustrate yourself.

So in short you need to decide how much time you should spend with these guys and ask yourself why are you not hanging out with girls more.

I think You should let them know the way you feel and if they stop talking to you is that they just wanted more. Its not worth to mix things up so if you think you wouldn't give any of them a chance then make it even and talk to them together so they know you wouldn't give you other friends a chance...
