2 weeks ago I was joking around with the guy I am seeing. He got defensive and I explained I was joking. He said he would call later and didn't so I called him. I got his message. I admit to calling way to much the next day. I backed off and left him until after it was time his son should of been back with his mom. I went over to his house and he wasn't there but I had written a letter to further explain. I got an email from him that night that said I was making him uncomfortable when I knew he didn't want to get married. I wasn't coming on like that cause I never wanna get married either. The only level I talked about was going from dating to boyfriend/girlfriend when we were ready. Anyways at the bottom of the email he wrote. I think we need time apart for now. What does this mean in guy talk. Does it mean I have been dumped since it is 2 weeks and haven't heard from him. Does it mean he will come back to me after he has had some time? Mind you this is a guy who has told me stories of how he got rid of other girls he was seeing. Left a few at stores. Told them to delete his number cause they were over. And so on. So I think if he wasn't still interested he would of been cold. He wasn't. He is almost final on his divorce, his best friend just decided to divorce, and I think we went faster than he thought. He tells me he really likes me so how can you go from that to this no talking at all for 2 weeks. Should I contact him or wait it out? I really like this guy and would like to see where it goes, but this waiting game is hard. Can anyone give me some insight?
