my friends cousin came to my town 3 weeks ago to work for the summer. we hit it off perfectly. I knew that it was too perfect. I asked her about a boy friend and she told me that she was single. I knew she was lying because my friend said that she was all day on the phone with her ex, so I took it as a sign that she liked me. we continued to hang out, quickly starting to flirt like crazy. I tried kissing her and she turned away. she revealed that she was still talking with her ex and gave me the whole lets still be friends story. we've hung out again since, as if nothing happened and at the same time I've been avoiding her. I know what I need to do but its so damn hard. I really believe that she is the one for me. I haven't even thought about sex, for the first time in my life. I'm scared that I'm never going to find another girl that will make me feel this way, and I've been around the dating scene for too long hunting for someone like this. guys and especially ladies, what the hell should I do!
You have to leave her alone until you know for sure that there is nothing going on with her ex. She will hate you for it if you keep hitting on her. If you really love her, you have to let her make her own decisions and decide for herself who she wants to be with. As much as it sucks to love someone who doesn't love you back, you just have to accept that right now she is into someone else. Look at it from her perspective, if you had a girlfriend that you were with and some other girl kept trying to come onto you, what would you think? If she and her ex ever break up that is when you want to tell her your feelings. Telling her now will only stress her out and make her avoid you at all costs.
