i take about a hour and a half to get ready this drives guys nuts! if I'm doing it for the guy I'm with and we go out sometimes other guys look at me and he gets upset with me, why are guys like this? and is it me? should i just not get all dolled up?
So long as she's ready when she said she would be, frankly, I could care less how long it takes to get ready to go. I'd find it very attractive that she dolled up; not worry about what someone else might say, or that she'd get hit on. (I might have a slightly biased view; I'm pretty used to the women I'm out with being hit on.)
At the core of it, ff you're spending time to look good for him, he should appreciate the intent, at least.
i agree with anonymous, it can sometimes make me a little jealous if my girl gets all done up, just 2 have other guys talk 2 her and I can c she likes it, keep trying to look as good as possible, but make sure he knows its for you
Your guy doesn't want other guys to look your way while he is with you because he is afraid they may hit on you and you'll then like it. Guys are weird that way. What you should do when you go out is flirt with only your man and no one else then he won't mind you looking so good all the time.
Just tell him Rome wasn't built in a day! If you look good then the time is worth it. Maybe you can compromise and get ready earlier so he won't be waiting for you as long. You should always take pride in your appearance, guys should just get over their insecurities. As long as you're not flirting with other guys or hanging all out of your clothes it's not you - it's him!
i have to say the fellas I know or have ever met take longer than any girl I know to get ready! like on holidays we would be waiting ages for the fellas to be ready to go out so I think now a days were about the same level of time to get ready! and maybe he just thinks why is she putting effort in she has she doesn't need to attract anyone else he's probably just jealous

Dinner followed by a walk on the beach... Nothing sets the mood like getting your toes in the sand under the stars, listening to the ocean... Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
She would know that I am real and she is intrigued and that she is dying to see me again...
