I'm sort of seeing this guy and tonight when we hung out he put his arm around me and held my hand for the first time. I don't know if he wanted to kiss me. I was praying he would, but I get so nervous when we look at each other, I can't keep my eyes still on him. How do I get over it? I've never been good with eye contact, and I've never had a boyfriend or been kissed, so this is hard for me. I really like him and want him to kiss me, so how I do I stop and this nervous habit?
The more you sit and wait and think the more your anxiety will build. You have to try and read the signals that he is giving you. I know its hard at first but you will get the hang of it from experience. As of signs he might, get close to you, constantly look at your lips, do things to make you look at him, and even touching and holding hands in certain ways.
The answer,is to practice with him. the more time that you spend together, the less nervous that you will become. find a private place, and get your tonsil hockey game going.
