My girlfriend is awesome and I love her to death so I like to do nice things for her. I say things and do things to try to make her feel special. The problem is, I'd also like for her to say things and do things to make me feel special and she doesn't do it anymore! A couple of weeks ago I called her out for not giving me enough attention and it started a big argument and now I get less attention than I used to but I'm afraid to say anything cause I don't like to argue. I feel like I'm not giving her enough space or being too picky or maybe just being a baby. what's the problem?

We often forget what we do for people. Is the same thing that should be done unto us. Like the way you treat her special, you obviously want the same thing. But maybe you love her more than she loves you. Or the way you feel about her is not the way she feels about you. Meaning the way you see yourself with her is not the same way she sees herself with you. My mom always taught me that you should give more than you recieve. Because in life the things we do for people are not the things that will be done unto us. That's just one of those laws in life that doesn't stike our minds. Because the role certain people play in our lives is not the role we play on theirs. That's why in relationships it takes people a long time to adjust to each other and realize how important you are to each other. It's not all about doing the things they want you to do it's the sparkle between two.

It depends on if you're into mindgames or not. She's playing games- you're never going to please this one. If you give her less attention, she'll get probably get mad. And she's using a "punishment" (i.e. giving YOU even less attention) to make you feel like you can't talk to her, therefore giving her control of your feelings. No one should bring up emotional requests in a relationship and get the opposite effect. If she cares about you, she'd try her best to make you happy, not try her best to make you miserable.
Girls like a chase. Give her less attention for the next few days and she'll notice it and begin to appreciate the attention you were giving her. She was just taking it for granteed because she got it more often.
Dawg this is from the heart. Man up! Don't let that make you scared to state your feelings. Maybe she is not on your level of understanding love... I consider myself a nice guy too, but if I don't get it in return... I will confront the situation also, and if she cares she will be offended, but she shouldn't start to do less. Thats not cool man. I know it hurts your feelings man. I been there too. I wish you the best with that situation. Just remain sincere. You'll have your reward.
