Prom advice?

I wouldn't find it awkward if it was me, but that's just me. I say get it. Here's why.

If you don't get it, even though you are just going as friends she could be disappointed. A corsage isn't necessary by any means but it is just another fun little thing that makes Prom fun and special. Plus girls usually like flowers, even from friends. Only time I have had any sort of "issue" with flowers was when I got them from a totally creepy guy that I didn't like at all who was practically stalking me. Totally different situation, lol. Also if you got some huge over the top super expensive thing. then that might be awkward. But a simple little corsage will probably just add to her enjoyment of the evening. And if she does seem at all awkward or put off by it, just play it off. Be like, "Oh I'm sorry, I know we're just going as friends but I thought it was something that you're supposed to get?"
