This guy is in 5 out of 9 classes which are mostly ap. He has never had a girlfriend and is quite shy especially with girls in general. he looks at me all the time in my classes and sits with me everyday on the bus. he also holds my hand on the bus but still hasn't asked me out and we have been like this for about 3 months. and he told my friend he was thinking about asking me ut nit has been a month since then.
Aditya is right, you definitely have to be proactive. The old tradition of the guy having to ask the girl out definitely needs to go. So many people miss out what could be an awesome relationship because each person likes each other but they are too shy to talk about it.
I actually used to be too shy to ask a girl out and I always felt bad when a girl said 'no' to me when asking her out. The funny thing is that I dropped that mentality almost overnight and I have no problem asking a girl out now.if she says no, she says no, it's not like I'm going to spontaneously combust immediately after being rejected.
Also, how old is this guy? It might just be because he's young and has no experience so he doesn't know how to conduct himself.
Definitely ask him out. Actually, it's funny because to me it would take more guts to initiate a hand-holding session on the bus compared to simply telling a girl that I was interested in her. I'd say definitely more than a friend, but not yet a girlfriend...usually the whole girlfriend/boyfriend status thing depends on when the girl thinks you are in a relationship. If you like him, ask him out, if you already know him well enough and are ready to take the next step ask him if he considers you his girlfriend. He'll probably ask if you think of him as your boyfriend and if you both agree to it, congratulations you're in a relationship. - 6 months ago
just don't hang out there waiting for him to ask, be a little pro-active.u want that, he wants it too.kill that shyness.take an initiative and hint it out to him
and if he still doesn't take it, there is something up in his life you are not aware of.

Well at first I flirted with him but he didn't pick up on it very well then I put my head on his shoulder on the bus a few times and recently I told him that he was a great and guy and was surprised that he was single and he has my number. what more can I do and he is much more shy than me - 6 months ago
