My longest was 10 years. She always had a boyfriend. I was a good friend of hers and we hung out all the time. Every time she broke up with a boyfriend, I was like here is my chance. But before I could ask her out, she would have a new one. This went on until a year after we got out of college. She was single again and I finally went for it. I sent her some flowers and a long note because she lived far away at the time. I got a call from her later and she told me I meant everything to her but that she thought we were better as friends. The funny thing is I wasn't hurt by this, cause we truly were friends and I was just happy our relationship didn't end after I told her. She got a new boyfriend a few months later. In October of this year I will be a groomsmen in her wedding, sounds weird right? Well I have moved on and have a girl in my life that actually feels the same way I do about her. We are just taking it slow until we both move to the same town in a year and really start dating. I know it might sound crazy but I have been through a two year relationship that ended badly and being more careful this time.

Our first date would be at a dave and busters, bowling, putt putt, something where we can do something cheap active competitive and fun and maybe have a drink or two. After that we can grab a bite to eat we can go for a walk or a drive. Then ill drop you off at your place, assuming all goes well we make plans to meet again, and we say goodnight.
