well lately he has been hanging around my best friend and I and today he texted and confessed that he had a crush on her and I should hook them up. I haven't told my best friend because I know she will cuss him out or something. but how should I handle this situation? please let me know!

Tell him you can't because you have feelings for him.

Oooo….! o_O lol

This is a very tough TOUGH situation. The bad news is that he probably either doesn’t have any feelings for you or he has no idea you would ever think of him (or both.) So it’s up to you what you should do—but it sounds like he isn’t interested.

One rule of thumb with guys (based on my experience, guys, correct me if I’m wrong) is that most know right away if they are attracted to a girl. Initial attraction is different from “is this the kind of girl I could see myself getting into a relationship with” however. And as long as they’re not abnormally shy or something, I’ve found that they will just come right out and tell you—if not directly, they will make it very obvious by the way they act. I know a lot of girls ask “how can I tell if he likes me or not!” These girls are either clueless or trapped in the world of wishful thinking…imagining that just because they like a guy so much then he must either be equally infatuated, or they can somehow force it—which is just plain delusional.

You sound like a levelheaded, reasonable person, so you have to make the call on this one. If you’re feeling brave and not too worried about losing a friendship with this guy, then go ahead and tell him how you feel.

Good luck!

Let y'all know how y'all feel about each other.
You or him tells her how her feels, you tell him how you feel.
It may not work out how EVERYONE wants it, but it'll find it's place.
If that makes sense.
