I've been hanging out with this guy for about 6 years and we've never taken our relationship to that romantic level. We've both dated and broke up with other people through the years and when that happens we always find each other again. We are very good friends, we have everything in common, we have the same sense of humor and agree on almost everything. We've never gotten into a big fight at all. I would love to take things to the next step but I'm not sure how he feels. We flirt with each other all the time and when we go out dancing, we dance like we're a couple, heck everyone who sees us together thinks we are. Everyone always tell us that we'd make the perfect couple but we both say "we're just friends" the only reason I don't say anything to him is that I'm so scared of the possibiliy that he doesn't feel the same way about me and it'll ruin what we have. I care about him so much and I don't know what to do. His family, who I'm also friends with as well always talk about how close we are. I don't know I'd really like a guy's point of view on this (all are welcome though) is there a chance he likes me or am I just blessed with a really good guy friend? And to clarify how great he is ladies, he's the type of guy that I wouldn't mind going to a strip club or out with his friends cause I know I could trust him, he's the best! He treats women with so much respect, it's unreal. I've never been this so head over heels for someone before, and the fact that he's my buddy makes it worse cause when I hang out with him, I just wanna tell him how I feel but I always stop myself. Someone please help me!!!
Tell him that one of your mutual friends told you that he has romantic feelings for you. If he acts embarrassed like he's just been caught and tries to hide it then you've caught him. If he coldly says "No are you kidding me...you are like my sister". Then try to laugh it off like you are feeling the same way.
