How do you get over someone you have always loved?

I don't think you ever really get over someone you really feel that strongly about. If you do you never really liked them. I can think of only a couple of times in my life it has happened and they are guys that if I ran into them now I'd probably still choke. It's just something that makes you grow as a person and you count as experience. You just continue on with your life and meet other people. But your "feelings" won't necessarily change completely they just won't be in the forefront of you mind anymore.

if he doesn't feel the same way. it means he doesn't realize who you are, as in like every guy that you think you love should feel the girl there dating is the only girl for him, who doesn't pay attention to any other girls but you. and one way you could get over him is going out to some place with your friends and just talk. about what they think you should do. otherwise find someone else, be flirtatious.

you can always just ask him out [unless he's told you that he doesn't like you].
and if him not liking you is the case try to find someone else.

i have kinda been in the same situation I like this guy but he doesn't like me probably try to forget or try to get it going try to show him what a great date you are and it might work out
