Complication would fit this question. Not only has she not really "been around" much, but she's also a family friend, so if I do end up with her and break up it'll be awkward at social stuff. next I'm not sure if she even likes me. sometimes it feels like it does, sometimes doesn't, sometimes it looks like she likes my friend because she follows him around sometimes. then other times I've been lying down with her in bed, watching a movie. but it hasn't been sexual in any way, but still sort of hesitant "are we gonna do something?" and I'm not sure if she wants to. Girls. what does it MEAN.

Seems like she doesn't really know herself, she seems to like both of you but might like you more. she probably doesn't know if you like her or not (if you do like her you never really stated that but I'm assuming you do) What have you done to show you like her? What has she done to show she likes you like flirting etc.?
Yes I like her....... a lot..... a lot a lot!! We went to see a movie (group of friends, not date), and I tried to get her hand, but it didn't really work.... I touched her hand, but was nervous as hell (like I said, I like her a lot). She didn't really respond, but with her character, this could be because she's scared...
