Because for some stupid reason it's those very types of girls that are popular in school but that kind of popularity is short lived. Being a slut and being a prep gets tiring after awhile and guys get tired of them because they're not "keepers". They're out for fun and guys that are hot according to many girl's standards know they can get them and they'll do whatever they want them to do. You sure don't wanna be a girl like one of them. Be glad those kind of guys leave you alone because you won't be building up a bad reputation and worrying about getting some kind of STD's or HIV or worrying about getting pregnant or having to lie to a man someday that you wanna marry. Just dress as stylish as you can and try to look and act your best. The rest will take care of itself. You will eventually be the envy of those other girls.

People date who they want to date. There may be not accounting for taste but ultimately it is their choice.

I prefer women who enjoy sex (which would be a slut in your parlance). In fact, I don't date women who have objections to having sex. No one has the right to tell me whom I should prefer to date.

You know, the funny thing is that I hear a lot of people who are offended by other people's choices and how shallow it is for cute guys to date hot girls. Of course, it generally turns out that the speaker is a less desirable partner who resents someone else getting the attractive people. This strikes me as hypocrisy since the speaker simply wants the attractive people for themselves (no one is fighting over the chubby dorky guys, who are likewise crabbing about women being shallow)

ok you know sometimes I wonder the same thing. but it's all in both people in the relationship. those kinds of females tend to "offer" more if you know what I mean. See me, I'm the type of girl who wants a guy to want me for who I am and not "what I have" its simple: you or your friends don't need people around you like that. so just try to group yourself with more positive and your RIGHT guy will be waiting for you all on the other side of the rainbow :)

I agree with the first anonymous girl that you are really young still. At that age sex is what is on guys' minds. The slutty girl is that easy option. And the preppy girl is the arm candy, the trophy if you will, that he can show off.

There is a good chance that those boys like you and your friends too, they just don't know how to go about entering your "dating arena." A lot of times guys are just scared to go for the cool, down to earth girls, and often it is because they are intimidated by you.

Don't be offended by this, it is kind of a guys nature to do it. Just keep in mind that you are the one that they respect. And in a few years you are going to be the one that comes out on top. Patience is key. And for now if there is a guy you like, start leaving subtle hints that you do so that he knows it's OK to approach you for a date or whatever.

Guys like "party girls" because they will be more sexual !

as I see you are still under 18 and I guess the guys are in the same age. so they are young and then prefer dumb girls who are open for everything.
u will see that when you get older (and them) they will start to prefer other kind of girls like u
