I like a guy, but I'm not sure if he can tell if I'm interested in him, thus he hasn't made a move on me, but I'm pretty sure he likes me. So I was going to comment on a picture of his on Facebook (I added him as a friend and he added me back) and say, "Blake, you're just too cute! :)" I'm trying to put the ball in his court and let him know that I am interested without actually coming out and saying it or having to make a move myself around his friends, but I'm not sure how a guy would interpret that. Would you think she was interested in you as more than friends or was just saying you were cute as friends?
I didn't want to say he's hot cause I think that comes off too strong and I don't want that, and I thought by saying he's cute, I'm at least allowing him to make a move if he desires, and if not, then he doesn't. And if I find out he isn't interested, I can play it off as I said it as friends.
Personally I think that's a bold move. Not that that is necessarily bad mind you, but it could go either way. Bigger risk = bigger payoff sometimes. I've known girls to say "cute pic" or compliment my clothes ("I like that shirt on you") to spark the interest while still being subtle. I think doing it person will improve your chances, plus you'll be there to read his nonverbals.
If you want to be subtle I think it's a good idea because everyone notices their picture comments and you want to put the idea in his head that you like him (with out saying it!)
