Alright, well I guess this can go for either of the networking sites, but I was just trying to get people's opinions on whether they think it's alright to ask someone out over one.
So I met someone at a bar and I got their facebook (a pretty common occurrence) but now I want to ask her out. The problem is that I don't have her phone number, or even MSN, and honestly I think of asking over Facebook as being too impersonal. Something that probably won't go over well.
Also, I really like her so I don't know if I should just talk to her over facebook, or get her MSN. Getting her MSN will be tricky I think since I find it awkward talking to her. Not really awkward, but I watch what I say constantly because I don't want to say the wrong thing. Also, I don't want to come off sounding too forward.
I've never really had a problem asking girls out, so this is kinda new for me.
Update: Yeah, those are the responses I thought I was going to get. So any suggestions? Just flat out ask or what? I was thinking about just going ahead and asking her if she wanted to casually hang out one day and then ask for her number.
