This guy and I have been talking for months. One day I decided to tell him that I like him more than a friend. He tells me the first time he likes me more than a friend but, he calls me right back and tells me that he likes me way more than a friend and that he was excited about the situation and can definitely see me as his girlfriend. When we meet up with each other he calls them dates. Where the confusion comes into play is when I received a message from him saying that I'm beautiful and that he loves how I call him sweet Kev and he loves how I call him handsome Kev and that I make him feel good and that I'm a awesome beautiful person. He said in the message also that he likes me a lot and that he knows he likes me BUT, then he puts in I'm one of HIS BEST FEMALE FRIENDS. what do you think about that?
If he said "I like you a lot BUT you're one of my female friends" then it seems like he may just like the attention. If he's honestly a nice guy, maybe he's afraid of ruining the relationship. "BUT" in a sentence like this hints to something holding him back, and that would be your friendship. The road may end here. Try asking him what that means.
If he said "I like you and your'e my best female friend".there really doesn't sound like there is a problem.
I'm putting my money on him feeling insecure. He threw the best female friend thing in there to cover his tracks of coming on too strong. I think that he thought he was getting over the top expressing how much he liked you and wasn't feeling the reciprocation from you so he wanted to save face a little by stepping back into friend zone so that he didn't seem too overwhelming to you.
I think we had the same situation.but mine end up of nothing & I just hurt myself because I expected that he can loved me the way I feel for him.just go with his flow but don't expect too much because you might hurt in the end.just be a good friend of him,if he court you maybe that's the sign your waiting for.just be patient & enjoy it!
I don't know why would this guy put you as a best female friend because if he said he likes you. To me, when a guy really like girl then he will make his move right away. If you told him your feeling and he said he likes you more than friend and you guy should be a girlfriend and boyfriend now.
