I've been dating a girl for awhile now, but she sometimes acts like she might not become my girlfriend when she comes back to college. She lives in TN and I live in IN; So, I'm waiting for her to come back. However, I still like to be able to flirt with someone I can see. Spend time with a girl who is actually next to me. You know. Flirt with whomever you'd like. She isn't your girlfriend yet. And frankly, even if she was your girlfriend, it just flirting. It doesn't hurt anything. And actually did you know that there was recently a study done that flirting with other people when your other is not around, can actually strengthen a relationship. As long as it goes no farther than flirting.
If you are flirting with a girl who is nearer to you then dump your sometime girlfriend and get a new one. Just be clean about it. Work with what you have or get something new but don't do the go between thing. It causes more problems than what it's worth!

I agree with tazzy! You're single. Flirt your little butt off; go out with other women; do what YOU want. Right now, you owe her no explanations for your behavior. Having already dated her for awhile does not mean you should feel obligated to wait for her - she's not your girlfriend (yet). Also this might sound harsh but is something to consider. she might have wanted to have that summer fling option herself.

She is not your girlfriend! Flirt with any girl that you can get your hands on. The only way you are going to be successful in dating is to learn how to approach women with confidence.
Girls like a guy with confidence, but confidence is gained with experience. So go out in the field and practice your flirting, your approach. Read up on the PUA forums and see what other guys are saying about their night outs.
You also say you are dating her, but she is not your girlfriend. In my books that is not dating, that;s turning out to be as if you are just friends. It is better to not see her if you do not escalate it to a relationship otherwise you will end up in the LJBF zone and then wonder why!
