The story is that I've been hanging out with this guy for a couple of weeks. He's about 7 or 8 years older than me. Immediately we knew we were attracted to each other and I tried to no succumb to sex so quickly and he was alright with that. But as we are both very sexual people, inevitability struck. So now it's like, we hang out but we usually always have sex (not that I mind). I've asked him if this was something more than just sex and he said that he didn't want to complicate things with labels, but that there's potential for a relationship, and I feel the same way.
So now I'm just in this limbo of doing almost all these relationship -type activities with him, without a title. I'm not looking for a status or whatnot, I understand it's too early, but I just constantly wonder if this is serious or not. We still haven't gotten to the point of pda or anything like that, so it makes me wonder sometimes.
Because of this I'm more detached and letting him make moves and whatnot, and he does. He does tell me he likes me and I can tell its the truth, but still, I get scared of showing any care because the fact is, I don't know where this is leading.
(Note: We both got out of relationship about 6/7 months ago. While mines was only about a year long. His was 3 years long and he lived with her. Does that play into effect at all? We both have had encounters with others during the interim, but just wondering.)
Well we both went on trips, so its been like 3 weeks? And we had that conversation before either of us left. And now we're getting back into the motions of hanging out. Before he'd want to hang out anytime he was free, but now it doesn't feel as frequent. Maybe that's just me, or we just have to get back into the groove. - 3 months ago
