I like this guy that I go to college with. I decided not to date much over the summer, just to make sure that it wasn't a rebound situation. Well, it's been a few months since I've seen him and I still like my college friend.

I have a feeling that things are going to pick up after school starts again. I believe he was giving me signs that he liked me back before school let out in May. All details are in my first question.

For my own reasons, I told myself that I would let the guy come to me this time.

Anyway, there's a chance for me to do the asking later. My college has TWIRP (The Woman is Required to Pay) week. I've already thought of a way to do this and it really plays to his interests. It's anonymous and the guys have no idea what girl has TWIRP'd them until that weekend. The problem: TWIRP week is in November. There's also the whole 'I'm letting the guy come to me' thing. Plus, I'm 21 and a senior; I don't want to be playing games or waiting around.

If nothing happens by that time, should I go ahead with my plan and TWIRP him or should I just move on?

Never wait on the other person, because you don't know if that person has the courage to do or say anything. He could like you but never have the courage to tell you.

You don't even have to confess, just invite him to hang out a lot. Spend LOTS of time with him, and if he lets you and him hang out a lot, then that's great for both of you. Then after you two are spending tons of time together, things should fall into place.

Question Asker Yes, I agree. He's outgoing, so if he wants to be with me, he'll ask me. I do plan on spending time with him because we have some similar interests. I guess it'll depend on if our schedules conflict or not. Thanks for your input. - 3 months ago
Answerer Agh! You didn't understand my point.

Just because he's outgoing does not mean he'll ask you out. - 3 months ago
Question Asker I do understand that. My ex was outgoing and he wouldn't have asked me out if I hadn't said something in the first place. Maybe I should have said that the guy I like will have to ask me out if he is interested. - 3 months ago
Answerer Oh, I see, that makes more sense. Well...good luck. I hope he does ask. - 3 months ago
