I feel you on this.I often feel the same way about asking girls out because I think she will just break my heart like my ex did. I guess the only way to look at is that you have to keep trying over and over, otherwise you will be alone anyway. It certainly sucks to have your heart broken, but I think you just have to keep putting yourself out there until you finally find the person who is right for you. Also, don't assume that the next guy is going to be a jerk like the last guys you were with, everyone is different so you gotta give him the chance at least.

But you will never know unless you give every relationship your whole heart and focus. Broken hearts mend quickly with the next friendly smile. Mr. Right does not care about you being 'kinda skinny' so don't lose sight of your goals.

I had an old friend who was kind of short and dumpy and homely and he got WAY more dates than most simply because he asked WAY more people out and he did it with a fun loving humorous manner that girls couldn't resist. Looks matter little. People like to hang with others whop make them feel good. Be a good person, treat people nice and you'll end up surrounded with others who think the same, some of whom will be men.

If you don't go fishing, you'll starve. :) If you don't date, you will never find your soul mate. Give it a chance. Those other guys you were with were not for you. Now it's time to keep going and to keep your head high. : ) There's someone for everyone, so don't give up hope. Just think that you really have nothing to loose right now. I mean, you're not seeing this person, so the worst thing that could happen is that.um you still aren't dating that person. And you're doing that now. So take a chance. Good luck!
