i had a date with this guy and he stood me up. I don't get it he's the one who asked me out so if he wasnt interested why did he ask me in the first place? he didn't call or anything so I had no idea what happened to him. now he is apologizing to me but I'm not sure if I buy it. he knew he wasnt going to be available so ideserved a call or something! should I forgive him or not
Ugh, there is nothing more disrespectful that being stood up for no good reason. He couldn't spare 10 seconds to call you to let you know he was "busy"? Totally inconsiderate and I would be hard pressed to forgive that. It's easy to apologize for screwing up, he should have done the right thing at the time and picked up the phone. I vote "no" on forgiveness.
Unless he was somewhere in the remote tundra of Siberia with no access to communication whatsoever (which he obviously wasn't), then you absolutely deserved a call. It's your call whether to take his apology seriously or not, best of luck with that.
no, he's actually really lucky you said yes to this date, more than likely he's messing with you or you didn't put enough action into the communication of the date. When guys have to do all the work and planning its really kind of a drag, so step up and do your part and make sure he's in it with you. and you should have called him, you can't just wait for him to call you, that's kind of lame.
