I like this guy but he is completely opposite from me. I'm a jock , I love sports!! I usually go out with athletic guys but when I got to know him, I fell hard for him. he was perfect for me!!! so I'm a jock and he is, I'm not trying to be mean or anything but he's kinda prissy, at my school its called "a fresa" (I hope someone knows what I'm talking about). This doesn't really matter to me that we hang out with different people but I'm scared he might take that into consideration. But now I found out that he likes a girl that is part of the "fresa" clique. So now I'm losing hope on him because I think he'll pick the other girl over me. What do ya'll think, does me being in a different clique ruin my chances of being his girlfriend???

It doesn't ruin your chances but because you already started losing hope you might have done that yourself... You see he is prolly thinking somewhat of the same thing that you wouldn't like a guy like him cause you are into different guys and you losing hope may have got him to thinking that it would work with this other girl better. So what you need to do is make it totally obvious that you like him a lot!! Any guy is willing to introduce someone new into their group of friends if the girl is willing to try to get along with them!! SO GO FOR IT before he starts liking this new girl too much!!
Theres a lot more uncertainty with inter-clique dating. I'm sure if you tell him how you feel about him, or hint really hard it shouldn't matter whether your in a different clique. Then it'll just depend on who he actually likes more. Just as long as you don't come off as a slut, no one likes a slut.
