I've been talking to this guy for a good while now, but we haven't done anything but hang out, cuddle, kiss, all that little stuff...but there is an intense physical attraction between the two of us. I had intentions on us being boyfriend/girlfriend one day, but I recently found out that he JUST quit talking to his ex, and he had told me they were done talking a LONG time ago. We weren't really "together" so he had no obligation to me, but I feel like that could be a sign of things to come if we got together.
I don't want him to think that he has me wrapped around his finger, or that I'm gonna let him talk to me and other girls at the same time...but I don't want to let him go just yet. I really really like him,....soooo is it wrong that I still want to fool around with him? Or will I look like a fool if I don't just let the whole thing go?

I hate to be rude but talking to your Ex doesn't mean your cheating on or doing anything wrong to the person your currently seeing. I know its a fear that the person your attracted to MIGHT go back to their Ex over you however a lot of people try to stay friends with ex's.
I'd be more worried about the fact that he told you that he wasn't talking to her when he was, THAT shows he isn't trusting and isn't open, which means later he will have bigger darker secrets.
I see no reason for you to just let him go though, he has a minor fault, that might prove to be nothing, being scared a girl your with will get upset because your talking to your ex still is a legitimate concern (especially since obviously you have a problem with it now) so he is merely trying to cover his ass and not make anyone upset.
Stay with him, give him time to prove himself one way or the other, as far as fooling around goes its up to you at which point you wish to take that step.
