When it comes to relationships, is that saying correct? Cause I tend to only believe it if the actions indicate bad news. Such as if a guys says he loves you but doesn't treat you that great - then I think you should go by his actions. But if a guy says that you don't click but then still treats you in a more than friendly manor, does the saying apply? Or is that just reading too much into his actions?
For me, I've seen that it seems to work the same whether the news is good or bad. It is nice on the rare occasions when the actions and the words are the same. ;-)
Actions speak louder than words definitely cause anyone can say something you wanna hear and not mean it and what use is something nice said to you if its not meant.. anyone can say I love you but showing you do means more.
I do think actions speak louder than words. If a guy says he loves you but treats you like crap I think he doesn't know what real love is. If a guy says he doesn't like you, but continues to flirt... he probably does like you but is too shy or not ready for a relationship.

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
- Excuse me Miss, I was watching you from over there and I have to say that I just love your smile. It makes me happy just to just sit and watch you smiling. Could you please do that again?
(she hopefully smiles and gives up a sweet happy laugh)
- Oh dear, you just made my day - both a lovely smile and a lovely laughter! Thanks for making my day, Miss.
How do they typically respond?
Well, to be honest I haven't tried it yet since I almost never go out nowadays, but I wouldn't hesitate it I was to be in this situation. The way I do it, I would not be pushy or anything. After my last comment I would probably leave her for now, but try to bump in to her again later that evening, smile and ask for that lovely laugh again. And then maybe, we can start to have a conversation.
