I'm going CRAZY! I have this weird notion that I shouldn't show this dude I like that I care because he's the player type and he might manipulate me. I'm so scared of getting hurt, I play it safe. I get mad at myself when I instinctively act like I care about what he thinks and whether or not he's mad at me, and that he affects me. Any advise?

I'm so nervous around him sometimes, when he always asked me out, or tried to.. I panicked and said I was busy when he asked what I was doing on a certain night.... I want to take back what I said? How do I get him to try to ask me out.. AGAIN? Or should I indirectly ask him myself?

My question to you is why do you want to go out with him? If you think he's the player type it would seem to me you already think of him in a negative way. You're butterflies are probably a result of your mixed feelings. You like him, but you are afraid of him hurting you because he's a player type. What you need to do is look at why you like him. You also need to look at why you think he's a player type. Do you really want to date a guy you feel is a player type? If you date the guy you have to be prepared for him to possibly do something that might hurt you, can you handle this? Sometimes butteries are you subconscious trying to warn you you are making a mistake.
