What do you do if you think that you've just met the person of your dreams, and you don't want to mess things up? I'm afraid that if I screw it up my self esteem will be a lot lower than my xper points.... Maybe I just need to have a detached outlook on the whole thing. It's scary it is...

Honestly just be yourself. If your focusing on not trying to mess up you, could actually mess up even more. If things don't work out as you had hoped, take what you learned from the experience and move forward. Relationships are learning experiences/practices and stepping stones to lead you in the right direction toward that one perfect match. Don't let your self esteem crack over a loss...When you view each loss as a gain, your self esteem actually grows through confidence from reflection and growth.

Well if she is the dream girl... I don't think you should worry about screwing it up... she either likes you or not. If she doesn't like you enough to see your nervous or make a little mistake then she's not the dream girl.

This is kind of like in Homer's article "Pick her out, Pick her up" but minus the beer, lol.

But It's like the point that Homer makes: You saw her and picked her out to be the "one;" and now you got to pick her up. But it involves way more work than being at a bar (unless that's your circumstances, then you got to get her number before all the other guys do, if she's that type of girl (the desirable one).

I would find out what makes her laugh and find out how I can accomplish that more often with her. Find out how you can become more confident around her when making her laugh. You'll both be in a good mood and then it's a little easier to take things to the next level of the relationship ... where-ever you may stand. Then you don't want to get stuck in the friends zone so you got to flirt with her, get her thinking "I wonder what he thinks of me?" Then a little physical flirting like guiding her w/ your hand on her arm / upper back when walking through a doorway. You know, take it in steps and show her how amazing you are along the way. You're at the right place to develop what you're going to want to go about this - what I mean is you got to think and get a little creative about what it is that you can do to help you be able to develop/carry on a conversation w/ the the type of a woman, that this woman is. What can you do to make her always think about you, or think about you a lot. Well you got to pay attention and notice the little things and use that in your flirting and teasing ways to kind of "keep the flirting ball rolling" - and pass the "flirting ball" back and forth.

And use these things about her to create inside jokes and stuff like that so when she bumps into something that- you talk about often- then she will think of you. Girls do this to guys in a way, or at least they have done this to me: like a ex of mine, before we dated, she would always talk about the music bands that I liked and go into some detail about them; then when I would hear the song I would be like "Oh yeah, I remember ____ said this about that" or something like that. Then after we went through "the steps" we were dating. Best of luck!

Question Asker Wow!!! you should right a book!!!! thanks chief!!! - 8 months ago
Answerer Thanks, and if I can add anything: keep the attitude that when other people see you they say "Wow, he's confident yet humble ... I like the way he Carries himself!" you know. - 8 months ago
Answerer Okay, now I just wanted to ask (you know, update me): did you meet her, and if so how is it going? - 8 months ago
Question Asker I don't know what's going on with her. WE started out great now I don't know we seen each other
but the situation has gotten complicated and I haven't heard from her in days. And I feel pretty bad. I'm giving her some space but I don't know what to do. - 8 months ago
Answerer Did you notice if you became a little clingy or distant in any way, Like I picture you guys getting a long really well, and then you guys might have started hanging around like, a real lot; and got along way too easy. Then all of a sudden things changed? - 8 months ago
Answerer If that is what happened then you might have been like overly nice for her liking, you know she may like some conflict and not realize it, and now you got along so well that when things went a little sour, it then snowballed and got worse. Leaving you hanging. - 8 months ago
Question Asker I have no idea, I was nice but I didn't tell her I liked her or how beautiful I thought she was.She was talking 100 miles an hour. she said she liked me, I still leave messages here and there but we haven't talked about what happened yet. I'm probably going to move on. - 8 months ago
Answerer If you give her her space, and leave a message once in a while, that sounds like the best option, like your doing. Let her chose to call you back and not feel like she has to, she sounds a little confused. Is she broken up over a past boyfriend she never got over? - 8 months ago
Question Asker No, I just heard form her, she said there was no chemistry, no attraction so, after I sober up and gather myself back together and feel like living again, I'm going to date out and try it again as soon as my self esteem comes back, lol. Thanks Anyway - 8 months ago
Answerer Well, you tried, I've been put in your situation before and at least she told you how she felt. That's a little better than leaving you hanging. This sounds like you can learn from this experience, maybe you'll figure out more of what you want in a girl. - 8 months ago
