In the movie " The Notebook ", the boy Noah is an amazing role model.. he is sweet, trustworthy and cares about Allie more than anything in the world and always keeps his promises. If all guys looked, and acted like that.. I would have no problem finding a good guy ;)
Cyrano de Bergerac! He was in an old French play we read at school. The main character in Roxanne is based on him. He's so witty, profound, and loving, and he never lies to himself.
I really liked the personality of the guys in Sweet Home Alabama, the blond guy because he went so far to win back the love of her life and the dark haired guy because he loved the girl so much that she let her go with the love of her life...
Clint Eastwood in "Bridges of Madison County". He is gentle, kind, and a real romantic. He also has that subconsciously rugged rep from his roles in the spaghetti westerns of his younger years. I always get the chills in that last scene in the movie where he sees Meryl Streep's character in the truck with her husband in the rain and he waits for her at the stop light. Too sweet, it hurts.
Then there is always John Cusak holding the ghetto blaster in "Say Anything". I get the chills when I hear that song by Peter Gabriel. His character is so deeply in love with her and he puts himself in such a vulnerable position just to tell her how much he loves her.
My favorite male fictional character is Chandler Bing from Friends. I think he's just the perfect man. He's so funny... plus he has a little bit of a romantic side too that's not so over-the-top cheesy. If he really existed I'd easily fall for him!
I would definitely have to say Noah in the notebook played by Ryan Gosling! Childhood sweethearts that love lasts forever! He lives for her and he never gives up on her and his life is her he stays by her side no matter how difficult it gets at the end of her life in the nursing home!! If anyone hasn't seen the notebook do rent it out!! But definitely him in the notebook you can't go wrong fellas if you have that much love for a girl!! <3 x
