Ok to give an update from my previous question, I finally called "mr. hottie". I got his voice-mail, so I left a message with my number. that was last night, and till now he still hasn't called back.

Now, I don't know if I'm being a paranoid or not, but why hasn't he called back? should i?
or maybe it's his discreet way of rejecting me? :(

If he's interested, he will definitely call. It's up to him now. So, just wait and see. If he doesn't call back, then it's probably just not going to work.

Don't forget, crappy romance movies and TV shows have bashed into our collective consciousnesses that we should wait *at least 3 days* before calling someone back if we like them, because according to those sources, we'll seem desperate if we call before then.

Question Asker Oh I never follow that rule. I liked the guy so I did call him "within those 3 days". so do you mean to say I that I should call him back now and ask why he hasn't called me back? wouldn't THAT seem like a desperate act? - 7 months ago
Answerer No, no, I meant that the guy might be following that rule. But maybe not... He was probably just busy today.

I never follow that rule either, but some people follow it religiously. - 7 months ago

Ok I've had such experiences this year, guy after guy, same shoe, what 5 guys already all year, and all the same, you know if a guy really likes a girl,he'll call in a day or 2, or maybe he's waiting for the weekend, but I would say, sounds like my miserable stories, please update us if he calls you, i'm very curious to know, if ur mr.hottie is going to call, i usually like "hotties".
I know you want him to call and I' am in the same shoe:
If you read my question, which I posted, you will see I'm going through the same thing.
I wish I knew, but forget the rules, they are only excuses. I hope he will call you the next day, if he doesn't call you the next day, then be strong and let it go.Find another guy, that's the best way to forget about the previous one. I know you'll be tempted to call again but just maybe text him and not more than that. A girl shouldn't make herself look so desperate to sum guy...
Let 'em chase you....

Well I don't know the whole situation because I haven't read your last question but I would say if he has your number as well then you should let him call you. I know that its more vulnerable to wait for his call, but that's the only way you are really going to know if he is truly interested in you.

Because if you do call him and he so happens to pick up but it is not interested in you then you have a bit of an awkward situation on your hands.Plus its totally not any fun calling a guy. Its so much better and more effective letting a guy chase you.

N well if he doesn't call, well sorry to say but he probably wasn't interested or maybe he just wasn't really that available. Whatever it is, remember that it was not YOU that he was rejecting, it was probably just the wrong timing for him.

Best to focus your efforts on having fun yourself and flirting with a the next cute guy that comes around the corner, rather than focusing on some guy who can't make up his mind....

Hope it all works out for you

Don't jump ahead of yourself. It's only been a day. Guys can be slow at calling back. I would wait a couple of days before even thinking about calling him back. I definitely would not take this as a rejection. I would maybe try calling him again in a couple of days and then if he still doesn't call back, let him make the moves after that. Good Luck!

Advice: How To Make The First Move
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 19 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal first date would be to take a girl to do somethings she's never done before. Whether it be Ice Skating or Sky Diving, something that exciting that she won't forget. Id probably just wear blue jeans and a t-shirt, first dates with me will never be a dress up type thing. The date ends with atleast a smile on our faces, I can't promise anything more.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
I am extremely sarcastic and easy going. I hope we would both learn a lot about each other, but I can't tell you everything about me because what would we talk about on our second date?

Would you date me?
