I recently met this nice guy, well clever, and good looking. He asked me if I would like to stop by his place. I then asked if he'd like to have a drink. He said yes let me decide where we should go. But I couldn't decide so he picked a nice restaurant but made sure I was ok with it. While there he talked mostly about his work, and asked some questions about me and made me laugh. He helped me cut the meat on my plate..lol. When it came time to leave I wanted to split the bill with him, but he insisted that he pay everything. Afterwards we left the restaurant and he asked if I would like to come to his place for some drinks. I said yes. while there he insisted that I spend the night with him because according to him it was too cold outside and he couldn't have me going home at that hour alone so then he brought some clean clothes for me to wear, his boxers and his shirt, he asked me if the size was okay...lol
I ended up spending the night with him and doing some naughty things..lol. I didn't have sex, but we did other things. the next morning he wanted to talk some more, and I wanted to leave fast, I don't know why. He gave me a hug and kiss, and wanted a kiss again as I was leaving, and I gave just a peck. He texted me later to say he had a good time with me, and hope we can get together soon. Am I just a booty call, was he just being a nice guy or does he like me even a little?
I think he likes you - in what way is unknown. The reason he gave is weird, but my hunch is that you were leaning toward staying anyway. It could be that you felt guilt the next morning, like Acuzio mentioned, or that you had a good time and wanted to go so you could think about having a good time. I don't think it's strange to want to head home in the morning after being somewhere else. I generally feel that way too.
Hard to say... He sounded like a true gentleman up until the part where he used his charm to take advantage of you. Your speedy retreat from his house means that you probably felt guilty about what you'd done.
This whole wine-and-dine-then-get-'em-to-bed method might be his modus operandi, so it would be wise to be careful if you wish to pursue a relationship with him.
