He is just basically perfect in my eyes. The problem is he doesnt know how I feel. Last year someone told him that I liked him. At least someone told me he told him. He didnt hate me for it, But then again he didnt say anything to me. But again hes a shy guy and Im not sure if he would come out and tell me. There is a dance coming up this Valentines Day. Its a girls ask guys kind of thing and I was thinking of asking him too it.
I see him everyday after 4th period when Im walking to 5th period. I talk to him sometimes but its never more then a hi. It hasn't really been more then a hi since last year. Anyway I want to know if I should just pull him aside and ask him if he is going and ask if he would like to go with me? Or what should I do? Some ideas or help or something lol
Update: YAY! actualy we hug now. =] and I'm going to get closer to him this year, sophmore year here we come. =]

Whenever a girl wants to know if she should ask out a guy because she likes him, its yes. The answer is always yes. If he says no its not a big deal. You are on your way to being a confident person. Sounds like the dance is a perfect opportunity. Don't ask in front of his friends. Maybe bump into him, literally, flirty like. Tell him you need a date for the dance and your first thought was him. Or you think he'd be a fun date. Go for it.
Ask him to the dance! Like you said, he may be really shy and he's hoping that you may ask him. Like they say. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Just go up and say, "I know there is a dance coming up, are you going with anyone?" If he says no, then say "Well today is your lucky day because you get to go with me! " LOL. Good luck!
