Some background on me, I'm a 21 years old commuting college student studying engineering. I've never had really a steady relationship before, most I've ever had was one time I took a girl out for breakfast. I've heard that it is not unusual to meet girls at ballroom dancing at my school and I thought it might be a good idea to ask one of the girls at the club out for lunch or breakfast sometime.

So does this sound like a good or bad idea? Also when and how should I do it because when the club finishes dancing people tend to split and I'd have to chase after one of them. Thanks

Just start talking to people before, after, or during breaks, anytime you are just standing around. Talk to a girl a few times and if she seems into you then ask her out. Though I wouldn't ask her to breakfast or lunch unless that would be right before or after your class. If that is the case then it would be a way to ask someone out with less pressure though. Otherwise ask them out to do something fun. Also make sure to talk to more than one girl even if there is only one that you are interested in. It will make the girl that you do like more comfortable and maybe even a bit jealous (a good thing)

yea this sounds like a good idea, and I would do it right before class starts that way the person is still around and you don't have to chase whoever it is, and your not interuppting class
