Theres this girl at my work that I used to date over the summer. I stopped dating her when school started up again because she was "too busy," so I ignored her for a month. We started talking after that, but she was also talking to other guys (not sure if she was dating them though). Over the past 4 or so months we've been flirting and were doing a heavy petting thing, but all at work because she's in every school activity possible.
My tensions boiled over about three times during those four months, with me ignoring her/ being a dick until we talked it out. The last time it boiled over was in early December, when she told a mutual friend that I wasn't her type, her parents hated me (odd because I haven't met them), and that she didn't have time for a relationship. So the friend tells me and I ignore/ am a dick to the girl for about a week, ignoring her calls and telling me to leave me alone until I can cool down and talk about it. I called her out on leading me on, and she said we were going to date, but she didn't want to date me because she didn't have time and was going away to college in the summer (so am I, so that excuse really irked me), and that she didn't want things to be awkward at work if we broke up.
For about three weeks after this, she oddly enough continued acting like she wanted me, grabbing my ass, shoving her ass into my crotch, playfully biting me, texting me etc. But the last two weeks have been crappy.
She told me she was talking to 3 other guys two days ago, and exchanged 1000 text messages with in 2 days, and her definition of friendship became me doing her favors for nothing in return. I want to either have her as a girlfriend or get her out of my life at this point. Keep in mind, we work together, and one of the new guys she's talking to works with us as well (to add insult to injury...). I know she still likes me because when I don't talk to her she always comes and finds me, asks whats wrong, etc. and the flirting and petting. My take on the whole thing is she just wanted my attention, and that is basically what she is doing to the other guys. I don't want to keep ignoring her/ being a dick, I want to resolve the issue. Any suggestions on how to win her back (laughable, I know), or get her away?
I was thinking of telling her that since she was dating someone else from work, our friendship was based on her lying to me, as she said a) she didn't have time to date b) Wouldn't want it to be awkward when they break up and c) didn't want to get into anything before going away to college. Please help this is causing me much duress.
Seems that you should just set your sights on the future and not worry so much about This chick. She seems to be the player in the working environment and she's seems to be leading you on. Get to school and see what you can find there, cause as you may well know you will be spending a lot more time there than you will be at this place of employment.
