How can I get a guy to approach me?

Hun.. I'm the same I'm also 16 and haven't had a real boyfriend. I dunno about you but I had boyfriends in middle school but they weren't serious ya know so I've never had a real one and now, just like you, I want to be with someone and have a serious relationship. so wat i've been doing is getting to know a lot of different people by joining clubs, taking advanced classes, and just basically expanding my social group.i am also shy and get nervous talking to guys I might grow to like, but first you gotta be their friend. that's the basis of any relationship. so just start with a nice 'hello'. something else that I did was since I'm taking AP Chemistry I asked a guy for help since I was struggling with the class and he was cool about it. while he was helping me we started having a conversation and started getting to know each other and then he introduced me to some of his friends in the class (expanding your social circle) well this is one way to get something started.

If your really shy and quite then guys don't want to walk up to you and talk to you because they are kind of scared of hurting your feelings. You should try and be a little more open. Don't keep to yourself so much. Start conversations with a simple question like "whats the answer to _____" It'll help hopefully.

When I was 16 I never had a bf I was shy and quiet too and still am unless you know me well.. you should just talk a little more to guys.. that can be hard sometimes if your friends have stronger personalities than you which can make you seem quieter.. just try be a little bit more outgoing that's all I can say I know its not great advice but it works
