Waiting or dating while getting over him

You can go out with another person while you are in love, but you shouldn't. Its not fair to either of you. Besides, when you are in love, you will only be thinking about that person, and won't be happy, anyway.

My boyfriend who I loved very much dumped me. Then I started dating like crazy which was really fun & felt like a step to getting over him. Then after 2 months of not being with my boyfriend I got into a relationship with someone else who said they loved me very quickly, and I found myself really hurt and confused about my new boyfriend and my old boyfriend & all of that. I think dating is good and then maybe when you know you are over him try a relationship? I don't know for me just dating was really helpful but the relationship was a bad idea lol

It is possible to date someone else while you are in love with someone because I've did it. So I know from experience. It is really hard because when you are doing stuff, anything, with the one you are dating you just wish it was that person you love. But I had to end the relationship because I believed that I wasn't being truthful to my boyfriend. In love with someone else when he didn't know about it. I felt like I was lying to him.
