What does it mean when a guy doesn't think he connected with a girl after the first date, even though HE showed initial interest, there is good conversation on the date, and the girl is really into the guy? Does that mean the girl has a personality flaw that a guy can't get over? or Could that mean that the girl just isn't as cute as you thought she was in the beginning? I just don't want to make the same mistake twice..
Could just mean he didn't feel there were enough mutual interests. Been on a few of those dates, didn't mean nothing against the lady, but weren't much between us.

You were "cute" enough to get a date in the first place, unless you came to the date in a hideous outfit with bride of frankenstein hair and body odor, etc....?
Or..."Does that mean the girl has a personality flaw that a guy can't get over?" - Perhaps, but not likely. You had enough "personality" to get a date in the first place. It could just mean he had a nice time, but decided there wasn't any real pull of attraction to go out again.
Or....Most Likely - he could just be playing the field and not interested in tying himself down to one girl/type of girl. Maybe he will ask you out again later. Shoot, beat him to the punch and ask him out
