What are things a guy should not do on a first date and what are things he should do to insure a 2nd date?

DO compliment a girl (if it is sincere), but Don't compliment a girl too much (it starts to sound insincere).
DO bring the humor. Laughter always lightens a date.
DON'T be too touchy feely (it's only a first date and you don't know each other too much)
Listen to what she says, try to bring convo starters, ask for a second date if it is going well. If you want more than one date, don't go home with her. Take her to her door hug, a peck, whatever, just don't go inside and try to get laid.
